The organization's namesake, "Spike," was the first K9 that James handled. Alongside the other K9s in our logo denoted by red stars, Spike and his counterparts played a crucial role in saving the lives of James and his fellow team members.
Following his retirement from service, James founded Spike's K9 Fund to address the gaps in public funding aimed at providing care and resources for these remarkable dogs that safeguard our nation and communities.
